Goodness, I Think

For those of you who have read Sleeve's unauthorized biography "Alice, I Think," it's being made into a TV show on CTV. I'm pretty excited about this for two reasons:

1) For the first time in a long time I found a Canadian YA/J book I enjoy (and a series, at that), and it has nothing to do with the Prairies, WWII, or multiculturalism. Alice is awesome and completely realistic.

2) I hate to say it, but "Degrassi: The Next Generation" just isn't cutting it for me. It's not as good as Lucy and Vula shop-lifting (oh Vula, we expected more from you) and the awkward sexual tension vibrating between Caitlin and that nasty Claude guy (poor Joey).

Hurrah for you, Susan Juby. I'll be watching, for sure.

i KNOW!! i am so excited. i must say, i never cared for Degrassi: TNG, and it upset me so much that i did the research to understand my disapointment.

imagine, if only we had CBC's Ramona rerunning again, that'd be great.

ps thanks for thinking i'm like alice!! thats good.

also, today a little girl thought i was Dora!

i also wanted to say that you have the most "hypertextual" posts ever. (that's like librarianspeak for hypersexual).

Well thank ya, Sleeve.

Yea, I was off DTNG when that one girl got the clap in her mouth. Sick.

I mean, it's one thing for Erica to think she has mono, it's a completely other thing to have warts on your tongue.

(p.s. Yes, yes, I know I've confused a bunch of STDs into one, but it was for the comic relief... Sheesh.)
